Parenting Resources
Being a parent is arguable one of the most challenging jobs a couple or an individual can undertake. It is vital that parents link arms with other parents in order to parent well. We need to share wisdom and experiences together.

While reading about parenting on a website is not the most ideal setting to learn about parenting, we provide these resources and links to get one started on the parenting resourcing track.

Parental Guidance Required is a course taught through Hayward Wesleyan Church FAMILY Ministries.  This is a general parenting class which looks at an overarching paradigm of being a parent.  This class places incredible emphasis on the relational aspect of being a parent, over and against just being an experience-based parent.  The curriculum dives into three relational dials that we as parents have control over in our children's lives - 1) relationship with God, 2) relationship with parents, and 3) relationship with those outside the home.  The curriculum came out of North Point Community Church in Georgia.
