main street | sunday morning children's ministryabout | Main Street

Main Street is a children's ministry program that takes children on an intentional, chronological journey through the key stories of the Bible on Sunday mornings @ 9:40am. This weekly ministry operates to teach, train, instruct, and point children to the stories of God's Word.

Toddlers (ages 2-3) meet in the Leaper Nursery Room and participate in Bible stories, singing, and a craft along with some significant times of play. Preschool and Kindergarten children (ages 4-6) meet together and indulge in fun games, play time, Bible stories, singing, and craft projects. Grades 1-6 meet together in a large group for singing, weekly birthday celebrations, various ministry announcements, monthly giving projects, a creative Bible story presentation, and then each grade is sent to their classroom for small group interaction which consists of crafts, bible memorization, games, activities, prayer, snacks, etc.

story videos | Main Street

Each week Main Street seeks to help children imagine the biblical story through creative means.  Whether the Bible story is acted out through drama, sign language, or basic storytelling, through the use of video or drawing methods, Main Street strive to make the stories of the Bible come to life--not only so students can remember them, but also live in light of them.  We are all captured by stories.  Main Street wants children to be so captured by the biblical stories that they want to live their lives in light of what God has done, is doing, and will continue to do amongst His special people.  Hopefully, these stories not only capture our imaginations, but cause us all to live according to the Main Point of the Story - Jesus - and show others what God is like through living like Jesus.  May these stories and the way they are presented help you to imagine...

giving projects | Main Street

Every month, the students in Main Street participate in a "giving project" that is specifically designed to get children of God involved in giving back what they have been given.  Sometimes these projects are financial in nature; other times they are collecting environments.  This monthly exercise continually teaches the Main Street students of the needs of others.

staff | Main Street

The spiritual formation of children is a task entrusted to those who in character and actions, model the image of God as revealed in the life, service and sacrifice of Jesus.  To this end the staff of Main Street take their responsibility to impart and model the faith seriously, but also VERY joyfully!!
