Main Street is a children's ministry program that takes place on Sunday mornings @ 9:4oam at Hayward Wesleyan Church. It is for children from age 0 through 6th grade. This weekly ministry operates to teach, train, instruct, inspire and point children to the stories of God's Word and their important role in that story.

Ages 0-3 meet in the God's House Nursery Room and participate in singing, a Bible story, and a project along with some significant times of play.

Preschool and Kindergarten children (ages 4-6) meet together and indulge in fun games, play time, Bible stories, singing, and craft projects.

Grades 1-6 meet as a large group in the Main Street Theatre for singing, weekly birthday celebrations, various ministry announcements, monthly giving projects, and a creative, communal Bible story presentation. Then, during small group, each grade engages in small group interaction which consists of crafts, bible memorization, games, activities, prayer, snacks, etc. The curriculum is designed to take children on an intentional, chronological journey through the stories of the Bible in three years.
